Shirley was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia where she
acquired her gracious southern hospitality.
She graduated from the Atlanta College of Medical and Dental
Business in 1982 and then pursued her ambition in Public Health by
assisting dentists with children and adults with HIV.
After years of service in public health, Shirley began a career
more focused on dentistry by joining the practice of Dr. Joseph
F. Alvarez. She began as a hygiene assistant, then moved to a
position as Front Office Administrator/Patient Coordinator and
finally rising to her present position as Office Manager.
Shirley and her loving husband of over 20 years have two
daughters and a two granddaughters.
When she is not
spending time with her family Shirley can
be found working in her garden, reading novels, exercising,
finding new delicious and nutritious recipes to cook and taking
the family dog, Faith, on long evening walks.
